Well that was fast! Hours after the Batman #50 teaser tweet by Joe Madureira, he followed up with a snippit of the main cover... and now he's revealed the whole trio of covers and it features some amazing cameos. On the left cover behind Batman is a hero filled page featuring Superman, Wonder Woman and Batgirl, then on the right cover behind Catwoman it features the villans Harley Quinn, Poison Ivy and the Joker. Over at BleedingCool.com they have received some information that DC Comics is registering the trademark 'Cliffhanger!' for comic books, graphic novels and electronic downloadable publications. Cliffhanger! was a creator-owned imprint by Wildstorm that brought together Joe Madureira (Battle Chasers), Humberto Ramos (Crimson), and J Scott Campbell (Danger Girl). Wildstorm was bought by DC Comics years ago so they inherited the Cliffhanger imprint but it has since been phased out after Danger Girl and Crimson completed their runs and Battle Chasers ended on an actual cliffhanger. Now that this rumour of Cliffhanger! being registered is out in the open, what is DC Comics doing with it? Is this the first step in the continuation of Battle Chaser's? The Battle Chasers: Nightwar Documentary by Gameumentary is out now! The doc goes through the formation of  Airship Syndicate  and the development of the game based on Joe Madureira's classic Battle Chaser comic book series.

The crew over at Gameumentary is fresh off of finishing the Darksiders documentary and have released a trailer for their next project, a documentary on Battle Chasers: Nightwar. If it's anything like the Darksiders doc then expect lots of great behind the scenes insight on the development and design of the game. You'll see creative director Joe Madureira and the whole team at Airship Syndicate discussing the process of bringing their kickstarter idea to life and the hurdles they had to jump along the way. Looking forward to this! The full documentary will be releasing on May 8th.

Airship Syndicate just announced that they have released a major patch for both PS4 and Xbox One to fix bugs/gameplay issues to Battle Chasers: Nightwar. Gameumentary  has released an amazing documentary on the Darksiders video game series. It's a must watch for any fans of the game or just fans of Joe Madureira (since he was the creative director of the series). The documentary starts from the very beginning when the game was just an idea on a napkin right up until the development and release of Darksiders 2. If this documentary wasn't enough, Gameumentary will be releasing a new one on the development of Battle Chasers: Nightwar in the coming weeks. I'm looking forward to it! Hopefully we'll learn some interesting things about the design and development of the game. Also, maybe we'll finally hear some news about Joe Madureira's progress on continuing the Battle Chasers comic series.

In the coming weeks Gameumentary will also be releasing a full documentary on the Darksiders video game series which will have some great behind the scenes information on the design and development of the successful game.

The day is almost here! Battle Chasers: Nightwar is being released on October 3rd on Xbox One, Playstation 4 and PC with a Nintendo Switch release to follow. I backed the game on Kickstarter back in December of 2015 and have been enjoying playing the beta release on my MacBook Pro. I have to say, being a Joe Madureira fan it has been an amazing experience to dive back into the Battle Chasers universe that is so near and dear to Joe. I'm so happy that he had the opportunity to create this game for his fans. Other big news is that Udon is doing an art book for Battle Chasers: Nightwar and apparently it is almost complete! This amazing Wonder Woman art showed up on Grace Liu's portfolio! For those unfamiliar with Grace she's one of the visual artists at Airship Syndicate and did a ton of work on Battle Chasers: Nightwar. This art piece is just incredible, and would make an amazing statue or bust! I'm pretty sure this is was just fan art by Joe when the Wonder Woman film released a month ago.

Airship Syndicate sent out a kickstarter update this week with a big announcement. The alpha-level kickstarter backers will be able to get their hands on the Battle Chasers: Nightwar alpha build on April 17, 2017 ! The beta will be released 6 to 8 weeks after the alpha. This weekend Airship Syndicate will be attending PAX East and showing off Battle Chasers: Nightwar at the THQNordic booth. Here's what they had to say about the build of the game attendees can play. Airship Syndicate released an update on the progress of the Battle Chasers: Nightwar yesterday.
