The PAX East conference is currently underway at the Boston Convention & Exhibition Centre and Airship Syndicate has made the trip from Austin Texas to showcase Wayfinder to the attendees. Along with showcasing the game, they had a panel today with Joe Madureira (Creative Director), Ryan Stefanelli (Studio President), and AJ LaSaracina (Engagement Director) to discuss the lore, gameplay and more details of Wayfinder. They also introduced a new hero character named Venomess, an expert alchemist, with a teaser video you can watch below with more details to come later. During the panel some new Joe Madureira artwork was showcased featuring monster concepts as well as some early character design sketches. Watch the whole panel on youtube! I've collected as much artwork as I could find from Airship Syndicate's new game Wayfinders that I believe is Joe Madureira's work. Enjoy the collection! Airship Syndicates new game has officially been announced! During the Game Awards, Joe Madureira took the stage to reveal Wayfinder , a new character-based fantasy online role playing game where you'll explore dungeons, hunt beasts, and battle enemies with friends to gather crafting materials for weapons, housing, augments and more that will help you push back the hostile force called the Gloom. At Tenno Con 2022, developer Digital Extremes announced a character design for their free to play game WARFRAME by Joe Madureira! The 'Summer Game Fest' celebration of video games has a showcase tomorrow at 1:00pm est on Riot Games, the publisher behind the League of Legends series. The showcase will feature Greg Street (VP of Riot Games), Rowan (Creative Director of Riot Forge) and our very own Joe Madureira (CEO of Airship Sydicate). Last December, it was announced that Airship Sydicate would be working on a new League of Legends game called 'Ruined King: A League of Legends Story'. View the trailer below. Since this 'Summer Game Fest' showcase is focused on Riot games, I assume we will get an update on the development of 'Ruined King: A League of Legends Story' from Joe. The Battle Chasers: Nightwar Documentary by Gameumentary is out now! The doc goes through the formation of  Airship Syndicate  and the development of the game based on Joe Madureira's classic Battle Chaser comic book series.

The crew over at Gameumentary is fresh off of finishing the Darksiders documentary and have released a trailer for their next project, a documentary on Battle Chasers: Nightwar. If it's anything like the Darksiders doc then expect lots of great behind the scenes insight on the development and design of the game. You'll see creative director Joe Madureira and the whole team at Airship Syndicate discussing the process of bringing their kickstarter idea to life and the hurdles they had to jump along the way. Looking forward to this! The full documentary will be releasing on May 8th.

For those patiently waiting for the Nintendo Switch release of Battle Chasers: Nightwar (me included) Joe Madureira posted this image of Ryan Stefanelli playing the game on the popular console. Gameumentary  has released an amazing documentary on the Darksiders video game series. It's a must watch for any fans of the game or just fans of Joe Madureira (since he was the creative director of the series). The documentary starts from the very beginning when the game was just an idea on a napkin right up until the development and release of Darksiders 2. If this documentary wasn't enough, Gameumentary will be releasing a new one on the development of Battle Chasers: Nightwar in the coming weeks. I'm looking forward to it! Hopefully we'll learn some interesting things about the design and development of the game. Also, maybe we'll finally hear some news about Joe Madureira's progress on continuing the Battle Chasers comic series.

The day is almost here! Battle Chasers: Nightwar is being released on October 3rd on Xbox One, Playstation 4 and PC with a Nintendo Switch release to follow. I backed the game on Kickstarter back in December of 2015 and have been enjoying playing the beta release on my MacBook Pro. I have to say, being a Joe Madureira fan it has been an amazing experience to dive back into the Battle Chasers universe that is so near and dear to Joe. I'm so happy that he had the opportunity to create this game for his fans. Other big news is that Udon is doing an art book for Battle Chasers: Nightwar and apparently it is almost complete!
