Over at Eurogamer they spoke to the head of Riot Forge, Leanne Lombe, as well as Airship Syndicate CEO Joe Madureira about some of the details on Ruined King: a League of Legends Story. Some larger canvas images of the League of Legend champion characters Miss Fortune, Illaoi, Braum, Pyke, Ahri and Yasuo were also posted. "So the characters are constantly interacting in and out of battle - the adventure and story elements are just as important as the combat." Big day for League of Legends fans and Joe Madureira fans! The wait is finally over for the reveal of Ruined King: A League of Legends Story . Developed by Airship Syndicate and Riot Forge, the Ruined King is a narrative driven single-player turn-based RPG (very much like Battle Chasers: Nightwar and Darksiders: Genesis) where a group of champions work together to benefit the lands of Runeterra. The story is set in two regions of Runeterra, a port town populated by sea monster hunters, dock gangs, and smugglers called Bilgewater; and a cursed land filled of deadly black mist which corrupts all those who come in contact with it known as the Shadow Isles.
